What is Girls' Ministries?

Girls' Ministries, formerly known as Missionettes, is a ministry within the church that introduces girls to Jesus Christ and to train them to follow Him. It's a place where girls can invite their friends and gather with others who love God.

This is a fun program for girls. Classes are held on Wednesday evenings at 7 PM in the Learning Center. Spring First has six clubs which include:

Rainbows Club

Rainbows Club is for preschool children ages three and up

Daisies: The Sonshine Club

Daisies: The Sonshine Club for kindergarten girls

Prims: The Discovery Club

Prims: The Discovery Club is for first and second grade girls

Stars Club

Stars Club is for third through fifth grade girls

Friends Club

Friends Club is for sixth through eighth grade girls

Girls Only (at this time we do not offer this club)

There is a Girls' Ministries club for every girl! Each club has different and fun ways to help girls make Jesus the center of their lives. It's fun to be a Missionette!

What is the purpose of Girls' Ministries?

The purpose of Girls' Ministries has eternal value and is explained in a fivefold purpose statement, which reads:

  1. Winning girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance
  2. Teaching girls to obey everything Jesus commanded us-helping girls to develop spiritually and mentally
  3. Providing encouragement, support, and accountability through lasting Christian relationships
  4. Providing an environment for girls to develop their gifts and abilities
  5. Acquainting girls with the Great Commission of Jesus Christ our Lord

Curriculum: A four to six week series of lessons covering one topic, including a memory verse, central truth, and clubroom discoveries (a unit completed earns one badge, pendant charm, or pin, depending on the club level)

Girls' Ministries Code

"Whatsoever things are true,
Whatsoever things are honest,
Whatsoever things are just
Whatsoever things are pure,
Whatsoever things are lovely,
Whatsoever things are of good report;
If there be any virtue,
And if there be any praise,
Think on these things." -Philippians 4:8
