Robert Hogan


Robert and his wife Brenda have pastored at Spring First since 1982. He has a heart to care for hurting people in a broken world and is passionate about engaging today’s culture with the appropriate methods to share God’s message of hope.

Robert has 2 children and 3 grandchildren and literally has a label maker with him at all times.


Brenda Hogan

Christian Education Pastor

Brenda is a pastor's wife, teacher and loving Grandmother. She has a heart to teach and lead women into a personal relationship with God. She also ministers the Titus II theme, of women mentoring women, equipping them to teach and encouraging one another. Not to mention that she makes a killer coconut cream pie.


David Hogan

Executive Pastor

David has 12 years of ministry experience under his belt and has been at Spring First for most of his life. He is passionate about teaching students and adults to dig deeper roots of faith and pursue a life that chases after the heart of God.

He is the proud father of a beautiful daughter and enjoys winning more than he probably should.


Josh Edquist

Worship Pastor

Josh was born and raised in Spring Texas, where he and his wife Jackie are experiencing parenthood for the first time with their son, Micah. He has a deep passion for worship and a heart to develop the next generation of leaders.

Josh is a progressive leader and accomplished musician, as well as a devout beard enthusiast.


Michael White

Media/Young Adults Pastor

Michael has spent many years studying the mediums of media, video, and music with the intent of using those arts to spread the relevant message of Jesus. He is also the leader of the young adults group (SFYA).

Michael is head-over-heels in love with his wife Ashley, as well as a self-proclaimed music snob.


Josh Gosney

Student Pastor

Josh is a next generation leader and has 5 years of experience in student ministry. He has the desire to see the lives of students changed by having a real, and truly authentic relationship with God.

Josh Loves his wife Codi more than anything, and he enjoys video games as much, if not more than the students he is reaching.
